This self-taught artist has a similar style to Van Gogh, characterised by bold brushstrokes and vibrant colours. The series of artwork on display shows the evolution of Maclet’s style from simplified contours to greater architectural detail and his developing mastery of perspective.
Just to warn you, there are renovations going on at City Hall but everything is still open, you just need to go up the back stairs.
